SMS Consent & Opt-In

This page documents exactly how end users consent to receive SMS from Inflect Insight (an Inflect Systems LLC service) and reproduces the opt-in call-to-action shown on the live sign-in page. It is publicly viewable without signing in.

1. Who sends the messages

Inflect Insight is a closed industrial-operations platform. Each user is pre-provisioned by their facility administrator before they can sign in; there is no public self-service sign-up. SMS is used to deliver one-time sign-in verification codes and optional operational alerts about the user's own facility.

2. How end users opt in

Opt-in is explicit and requires an affirmative action. On the public sign-in page at https://demo.inflect.bot/login (or a tenant-scoped equivalent), the user:

  1. Enters their mobile phone number.
  2. Actively ticks the consent checkbox, which is unchecked by default.
  3. Clicks "Send me a sign-in code" to submit the form.

Only after the box is ticked and the form is submitted does the user receive their first SMS (a numeric sign-in code). The facility administrator cannot consent on a user's behalf.

3. The opt-in call-to-action (as shown to users)

The form below is a static, non-interactive reproduction of the consent call-to-action on the live sign-in page:

4. Types of messages

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. We do not promote products, services, or third-party offers via SMS.

5. Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on the user's activity — typically one sign-in code per sign-in attempt, plus any operational alerts the user has opted in to. Message and data rates may apply. Inflect does not charge for SMS itself.

6. Opt-out and help

Opt-out and help keywords are processed automatically. Case-insensitive; the entire message body must equal the keyword.

7. Privacy

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent records are handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent data is not shared with any third parties.
